Background & Experience:
Kathleen Schmitt manages the Small Business Accounting department at Wendroff & Associates and has more than 25 years working with small business owners and entrepreneurs in the areas of accounting, business valuations, budgeting and forecasting, and consulting. Clients very much appreciate Kathleen’s way of providing personal attention to their needs and especially her exceptional ability to communicate complicated budgeting and forecasting concepts to help clients identify key measures to strategically grow their businesses.
Kathleen has a B.S. in International Affairs, specializing in Finance and Commerce from Georgetown University and a completed post bachelorette studies in Accounting at Strayer University. In addition to experience in corporate acquisitions, computer application development and training and IT project management, Kathleen is an experienced equestrian and founded Equisphere at Lawnvale in Gainesville, Virginia, an equine sports training facility.
