Background & Experience:
Rita joined Wendroff & Associates in 2009 as our Senior Accounting Consultant and multistate-tax specialist. She provides corporate, small business and individual tax planning and compliance, budgeting and forecasting consulting and multi-state tax planning and consulting.
Rita has more than 30 years accounting and tax experience, most of which has been with the “Big 4” accounting firms of KPMG and Ernst & Young, where she was the Senior Tax Manager in the Entrepreneurial Services Group. Her industry experience includes working with government contractors, finance, investor-owned utilities, and retail and manufacturing entities as clients and, for the recent past, concentrating on technology, telecommunication and bio-science/pharmaceutical development companies.
She is especially skilled at breaking down complicated tax code and consulting on favorable tax strategies for corporations and small businesses as well as her consulting skill in coordinating international tax issues and compliance and consulting for merger & acquisition transactions, corporate restructuring and multi-state tax issues.
Rita has a BA in Accounting and MS in Taxation from Walsh College, Troy, Michigan. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.

• She enjoys traveling and at various times in her life has spoken fluent Japanese, German and French.
• Rita’s youngest child, Sophie, was born on April 15.
